I’m sure I must have read it but it’s left no mark at all!
It would be the same for me if I read in my teenage years together with “Oliver Twist”, but unfortunately I read it rather recently.
Oh dear – at least I got it over with along with the teenage angst and the ‘O’ levels!
One tiny thing: last time I checked, Jacques Brel had no “h” in his name.
I remember you saying but there’s nothing I can do about that now. At least I didn’t spell it Braille!

Repeating is only bad if it’s unduly prolonged or due to ingestion of Brussels sprouts!
